| Shot Blasting |
| Shot
Blasting has become known as the most efficient, cost
effective & environmentally friendly way to clean
and profile concrete & steel flooring surfaces.
Shot Blasting remains the least labor intensive, highest
production, time saving method of surface preparation
in the industry today. Surface preparation with shot
blasting eliminates any surface or air born contaminates,
while leaving the surface coating ready immediately
following the shot blasting process. Shot Blasting has
emerged as the preferred method of surface preparation
versus the older, less sophisticated methods such as
etching & sand blasting. Blast Technology Inc. has
specialized in shot blasting since 1990 & has grown
to offer nationwide shot blasting services. Whether

| Concrete Grinding |
| Concrete
grinding was added to BTI's arsenal of equipment in
1999 to once again expand its range of services. The
addition of concrete surface grinding machines gives
us the ability to remove coatings, glue, and much more.,
while leaving the surface clean, smooth & ready
for the application of thin mil coating & stains. |

| Concrete Polishing |
| Concrete
polishing takes concrete grinding a few steps further
allowing the concrete or aggregate surface to be polished
to your desired shine. Concrete polishing begins its
multi-step process with three concrete grinding steps,
this allows the removal of any coating or contaminates.
Next, the concrete is ground to a smooth finish ensuring
a more uniform surface for polishing. The amount of
polishing steps will determine the finish of your concrete,
whether you desire a light sheen (400grit) or a glasslike
floor (3000grit). Polishing concrete allows a concrete
surface to show its natural color & beauty without
frequent maintenance or having to apply costly coatings
to the surface. A polished floor keeps its shine for
decades with no reapplication of any products. |

| Scarifying |
| Scarifying
services were added to Blast Technology Inc. in 1992
to solve concrete removal heavier than able to be done
by shot blasting or grinding. Scarifying is a more aggressive
form of removal which allows the removal of thick mill
coatings, overlays, thinset or as much as 1/2 removal
of concrete. Blast Technology Inc. has a wide variety
of scarifying equipment that ranges from 8 inch, 12
inch, & 13 inch wide and powered by electric or
gasoline. All models can be used dry with dust collector
or wet to control any airborne dust. |
